This year the Impact Fund Grant Program will distribute $2.8 million to behavioral health programs serving Larimer County residents through two types of grant funding; Targeted and Responsive.
Our advisory groups meet throughout the year to identify the most pressing behavioral health needs in our community. Their input and insights are essential in prioritizing these five Targeted Grant areas. Our goal is to award a majority of the available funding to the targeted areas and fill the gaps identified by the community.
BHS completed Phase I (2019-2023) for the behavioral health initiative which is primarily defined by establishing the framework for the department, the grant program, and the Longview Campus. As we begin Phase II (2024-2028) the grant funding model and targets are likely to experience significant changes.
Please note: Receiving funding in the past does not guarantee funding in the future.
BHS awarded $2.816 million through 35 grants serving the behavioral health of our community.
If you are unsure whether your program or project fits one of the areas we fund, please contact bhsgrants@larimer.org. You may also visit our FAQ page for additional information.
