Members present:  Susanne Cordery-Cotter, Nancy Grice, Craig Hults,  Ed Stoner, Cordelia Stone, Paul Resseguie &Ed Ott.

Chair – Susanne called the meeting to order @7:00 PM

 

Agenda was adopted as written.

 

Minutes were adopted with changes.

 

Communication Items:

 

            Members: Susanne – Reminded everyone that the Larimer County Boards “Thank You” benefit is coming up.

 

            Staff: Jill – 1041 was adopted last night.

 

Personal Appearances: Mark Loader – Mark talked about the Holnam land use. 26 people were de-annexed from the housing development. All of Briar Ridge was de-annexed.

 

Special Presentation: Regional Library District – Lu Benke – Robin Gard and Paula Watson, library board members, also were present.

            Lu presented a prepared presentation about the Library District. At the end of the presentation was a request for input as to how best to serve areas outside Ft. Collins.

 

Agenda Items:

1)   Ten Bears Winery Special Review – Jill gave a background – A special review is needed because Ten Bears needs to import grapes. Larimer County is trying to promote agribusiness through changes to the land use code.

Ed made a motion to approve – Cordelia Second.

Motion passed unanimously to approve the winery.

 

2)   Timberline Resource Gravel Pit time extension – The time extension is needed because this pit timing is tied to the Stegner gravel pit finish time. The Stegner pit is delayed in closing. Mike Refer and Connie Davis represented the gravel pit. Local input was given by Debby Allenson and Bobby Randolph.

Paul made a motion to approve – Ed O second.

Motion passed unanimously.

Discussion Items: County road 54G renaming – The majority of the people that can vote and sent in comments were against the renaming.

  We decided to continue this discussion next meeting. We do not have enough input from the people that live on 54G.
