            On July 16 the Planning Commission tabled the proposed 1041 code amendment in order to first discuss the requested/suggested changes.

3.   Brief update on Planning Dept. current major projects – Detailed Information

4.   Brief status of efforts regarding horse operations - Detailed Information

5.   Discussion regarding rural land uses

            -background information

            -key questions for BCC and PC members: ( this will be a facilitated discussion in which staff will listen to and record BCC and PC comments received--staff analysis, comments and suggested next steps will be brought to the October 8 joint work session for further discussion)

            -What are your thoughts on appropriate land uses for the rural areas of the County?

            -What are your thoughts regarding the County’s standards for rural land uses?
