What these data tell us:
When looking at age groups categorized by race and ethnicity from the United States Census, Hispanic and multi-racial individuals have proportionately higher numbers of children, whereas Whites (non-Hispanics) and Asians had a slightly higher proportion of adults. Caution must be used when interpreting these data because the numbers of citizens in some Larimer County communities/ethnic groups are very small. Please refer to the tables below for those numbers.Also according to the United States Census, Larimer County's mountain community of Estes Park had the largest proportion of seniors, while the smaller communities of Timnath-Wellington and Berthoud had the highest percentage of children in 2000.
