What these data tell us:
Enrollment in Larimer County school districts was predominately White (not-Hispanic) during the 2008-09 school year. However, compared to 2001-02 statistics, the percentage of White (not-Hispanic) students' enrollment has gone down for all the schools in Larimer County. Hispanic students were the largest and fastest growing minority in Larimer County school districts. This was especially noticeable in the Park School District where Hispanic student enrollment increased from 8.7% (121 students) of the total district enrollment in 2001-02, to 20% (241 students) in 2008. Countywide, Hispanic enrollment increased from 4,551 students to 6,710 (47%) during that same time. In comparison, total enrollment in Larimer County public schools only increased 4.6% between 2001-02 and 2008-09.Additional Information:
