What the above data tell us:
With the exception of White (not Hispanic), the percentages of students from each racial/ethnic group were higher than those of teachers in the 2011-12 school year. It should be noted that Black students represented 1.2% of student enrollment, while Black teachers represented only 0.1% of all teachers in Larimer County (534 students to 3 teachers). Students of Two or More Races (127:1) were the next most overrepresented followed by American Indian (83:1), Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander (76:1), Asian or Pacific Islander (71:1) and Hispanic (69:1).See data tables for breakdown of teachers by race/ethnicity and gender.
