What these data tell us:
In general, Larimer County vehicle registrations increased from 1999 to 2008.The number of registered vehicles declined slightly from 2005 to 2006 in all municipalities except Wellington. In 2006, there was a decrease in the number of registered vehicles. However, there was a change in emissions law, effective January 1, 2007, which may have contributed to the decline. Owners of vehicles unable to pass emissions in 2006 may have waited until 2007 to register.
