Unaffiliated Voter
When you register to vote, you may declare a party affiliation or choose to remain unaffiliated. You may register with any recognized party in the State of Colorado. Voters who affiliate with a party are eligible to vote in that party's Primary Election and also to participate in that party's caucus. Unaffiliated voters who wish to vote in a Primary Election may affiliate up to and including the date of the Primary Election.
Confidential Voter
Any individual who feels that they, or any member of their immediate family residing in the same household, will be exposed to criminal harassment or otherwise be in danger of bodily harm, may request that their address on voter records maintained by the County Clerk be kept confidential. Confidential records are not given out to the public or political party representatives. Requests must be made in person at the County Clerk's office and are subject to a $5.00 fee.
Military and Overseas Voters
The Federal Voting Assistance Project website is designed to help members of the Uniformed Services and other U.S. citizens residing outside the U.S. to register to vote and to obtain mail-in ballots.
