Permanent Mail-In Ballots
With the passage of Senate Bill 234 in 2007, all voters in Colorado may cast their ballots by permanent mail-in ballot (formerly called "absentee ballot"). When a voter requests a permanent mail-in ballot, the Elections Department will automatically send a mail-in ballot to the address provided by the voter for all elections conducted by the county. If the voter desires to no longer receive ballots by mail, he/she may contact the Elections Department to cancel the permanent mail-in ballot request. To become a permanent mail-in voter, simply complete and sign the Combination Voter Registration and Mail-In Ballot Application . Be sure to check the box next to "Add my name to the list."
Voting Methods and Locations
You will be able to cast your ballot by any one of the following methods:- By mail via Mail-in Ballot
- In person at an Early Voting Branch Office
- In person at a Vote Center on Election Day
Mail-in Information
Anyone who will not be in the County or anyone who prefers to vote by mail rather than go to a Voting Location on Election Day can request a mail-in Ballot. This ballot can be mailed to a voter's residence or any other address that is provided.
