Fleet Services

Fleet Services consists of 19 employees:

  • 10 ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certified Technicians, 9 of which have a Master Certification
  • 1 Radio Installer
  • 2 Parts Specialist
  • 2 ASE Certified Shop Supervisors
  • 1 Purchasing Agent
  • 1 Fleet Services Director
  • 2 Accounting Technicians

Together we perform comprehensive preventative maintenance and repairs on 799 pieces of equipment and vehicles. The Heavy Duty and Light Duty technicians plus the supervisors have 292 combined years of experience.

Our Facilities include (9) fueling sites for our fleet. In 2009 we dispensed 672,773 gallons of Unleaded and Diesel fuel.

About The Fuel We Burn

All our vehicles are petroleum powered, either gasoline or diesel. We have a few tandem dump trucks and pieces of heavy equipment that are running on bio diesel. Bio diesel is a renewable diesel replacement fuel that is manufactured from domestically produced oils such as soybean oil, canola oil or rapeseed. Bio diesel is a blend of conventional diesel fuel with up to 20% bio diesel. We are purchasing b-20 (80% conventional diesel 20% bio) during the warm months and b-10 (90% conventional diesel 10% bio) during cold months. No french fry or waste oil is used in any bio products we purchase. All of our gasoline is 85 octane the octane - rating recommended for most vehicles at this altitude. We have clear unleaded fuel and unleaded with 10% ethanol.
