Our mission is to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) through screening,
diagnosis, treatment (when possible), and education about preventing infections.
How soon will I get my test results?
It depends on which tests have been done. Some infections can be identified
and treated immediately. Other tests results may require 10 days to
2 weeks to be confirmed by a laboratory.
What does it cost?
Prices vary for office visits. Additional fees will be charged for specific tests and treatments. We do not bill private insurance or Medicaid. Payment is expected at time of service. Please call 498-6700 for current price information.
Will my test results be reported to my parents, spouse, sexual
partner or anyone else?
Colorado laws require that certain communicable diseases be reported
to the State Health Department. This includes STD's such as syphilis,
gonorrhea, HIV, and chlamydia. Colorado laws also make it illegal to
release any medical information to anyone without your written consent.
Parents, spouses, or anyone else would never be informed of your visit
to the clinic or your test results unless you give permission
to release that information to them.
