The male who died at his residence on October 20, 2012 has been identified as James D. Smith III, age 65 of Livermore, Colorado.

An autopsy was performed on October 21, 2012.

The decedent died of a single gunshot wound to the head which was determined to be self infliced.

Manner of Death is Suicide
