Geology Hike at the Devil's Backbone Scheduled for 5/19 CANCELLED

LOVELAND, Colo. – The "Geology Hike at the Devil’s Backbone" program originally scheduled for Friday, May 19 at Devil's Backbone Open Space has been cancelled due to inclement weather.

Friday, June 2, 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. "Geology Simplified Hike" Join Larimer County naturalists at Devil's Backbone Open Space, located west of Loveland off of Hwy. 34, to learn about the fascinating geology of this local landmark and the northern Front Range. This hike is geared toward folks who have little knowledge of geologic concepts and jargon. Hike rating: Easy. Approximately 1.5-hour program. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring along some water. Program is free, but registration is required. Please go to offero.larimer.org to sign up.
