A public hearing before the Larimer County Planning Commission has been scheduled to receive public input on the recommendations of the Working Group for the Horse Business Facilities Regulations study. The public hearing takes place on Wednesday, November 18, at 6:30 p.m. in the Hearing Room, 1st floor, Larimer County Courthouse Offices Building, 200 West Oak St., Fort Collins.
 
 The existing regulations were adopted more than 20 years ago. For the past 8 months, the Working Group, a citizen’s committee appointed by the County Commissioners, has worked with the public and County staff to develop proposed revised regulations. Recommendations from the Planning Commission will go to the Board of County Commissioners who could hold a public hearing as early as December. This study is a project of Larimer County’s Rural Land Use Center.
