Red Feather Lakes Transfer Station

Location

The Red Feather Lakes Transfer Station is located on Red Feather Lakes Road. Enter through the U.S. Forest Service entrance between Parvin and West Lakes.

November through April: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. the first Saturday of each month
May through October: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every Saturday

The Red Feather Lakes Transfer Station accepts household trash only. Items must be 4 feet x 4 feet or smaller. It does not accept appliances containing refrigerants. These items should be taken to the Larimer County Landfill.

Household hazardous wastes like pesticides, paint thinners and cleaners must be taken to the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility at the landfill.

This transfer station accepts cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. All waste, regardless of type, size or weight - even trash in plastic bags - must be completely enclosed with a cover and secured to your vehicle. This policy is strictly enforced. Uncovered loads are charged double fees. Waste from outside Larimer County is charged 2 1/2 times the in-county fees.
