Building Resilience Through Collaboration

The best way to build resilience is through cross-sector collaboration. When we work in silos, it increases the likelihood of such issues as duplication of efforts or projects impeding one another unintentionally. Additionally, cross-sector collaboration allows for the unifying of multiple perspectives and skill-sets which can lead to innovative solutions.

A way that Larimer County creates this kind of an environment is through the Larimer County Resilience Network. This group of stakeholders was originally formed in order to develop the Larimer County Resilience Framework, however, the Network has continued to meet yearly to establish goals and identify opportunities for collaboration long-term.

The flipchart on this page shows the key initiative areas and major goals from the most recent workshop conducted by the Network.
