Warrant Clearance and Community Resource Event Returns for 2024

A warrant clearance and community resource fair will be held at the Larimer County Loveland Campus at 200 Peridot Ave. in Loveland, CO on Saturday, April 6^th from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. No arrests will be made for those attending the event.

In 2023 nearly an estimated 125 warrants were cleared between the two events. “This collaboration with agencies throughout the 8^th Judicial District is critical in creating opportunities for accountability and resolution for community members involved in the criminal justice system,” says District Attorney, Gordon McLaughlin.

This event is sponsored by the 8^th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, the Office of the State Public Defender, the 8^th Judicial District Judicial Branch, and the Loveland Municipal Court. The Community Resource Fair is hosted by Larimer County Community Justice Alternatives.

Offenses eligible for warrant clearance are:

Misdemeanor, Traffic, and Petty Drug charges (except those listed as Ineligible below)
Drug Felony 4 (DF4) charges
Loveland Municipal Court charges
Class 5 and Class 6 Felonies (except those listed as Ineligible below)
Failure to Register

Ineligible offenses for warrant clearance are:

Out-of-County Warrants
Domestic Violence Misdemeanors or Felonies
Any Victim Rights cases (VRA)
Careless Driving Causing Death or Injury
Possession of a Weapon by a Previous Offender
Felony Eluding
Sex Offenses (except Failure to Register)
Class 1, 2, 3, and 4 Felonies (excluding DF4)

In addition to clearing warrants, attendees can connect with community resources for health, employment, and other assistance. Organizations in attendance include SummitStone Health Partners; Homeward Alliance; the Larimer County Department of Health and Environment, the Department of Human Services, the Veterans Service Office; Disabled Resource Services, and more.
